Procedure for acquiring the educational and scientific degree "PhD" in the scientific specialty “Animal and Human Physiology”, code 01.06.17. from assistant Georgi Georgiev, employee at the Department of Immunoneuroendocrinology has been started. According Scientific Board Resolution issued with Protocol 11/24.01.2012 and Ordinance 21/30.01.2012 of the Director of IBIR, a kick-off meeting of the elected Academic jury took place in the Conference room of IBIR at 2 p.m. on 14.02.2012. Assoc. prof. Stephan Lolov, DSci was elected for Chairman of the Jury. Prof. Alexander Stoynev – MU, Sofia, and assoc. prof. Stephan Lolov were assigned for Reviewers. Prof. Elena Stephanova – Faculty of Biology, Sofia University, assoc. prof. Rossitza Konakchieva, DSci and assoc. prof. Pavel Rashev, PhD were assigned to issue standpoints.
