The investigation domain of IBIR-BAS is unique at national level and is dedicated at resolving of social problems like reproductive health, sustainable usage and restoration of natural resources and improvement of quality of life.

On 22nd July 2013 was signed funding of the project FUNDAMENTAL AND APPLIED EDUCATION OF PHD STUDENTS AND YOUNG SCIENTISTS AT INTERDISCIPLINARY AREAS OF BIOLOGY AND INNOVATION BIOTECHNOLOGIES here
The project is funded by the European Social Fund and the Republic of Bulgaria
